All elements in the periodic table have chemical properties. Chemical properties are how they react with other elements to form compounds and new substances.
Chemical properties of an element or compound describes the way that electrons are shared or moved between atoms when they rect together. This can be from small and slow reactions like the rusting of iron to form iron oxide or it could be an explosive reaction like the reaction of potassium with water producing heat and light. These reactions depend on the size of the atom, the number of electrons and whether it is a metal or non metal.
